TRUMP ENDS FEDERAL AID TO ABORTION, WITHDRAWS FROM TPP
St. Louis, MO: This morning, President Donald Trump signed three executive actions that take steps toward fulfilling many of his campaign promises and policies. Trump's actions included: withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, placing a hiring freeze on non-military federal workers, and cutting off federal funding for foreign organizations that provide abortions. These are some of the issues that Phyllis Schlafly regarded as most important in our 2016 election.
"Phyllis Schlafly would be proud of these actions from President Trump on working day one," said Ed Martin, successor to Phyllis Schlafly. "We are thrilled that the Trump administration is sending strong signals on their intent to protect unborn life.
"Reinstating the 'Mexico City Policy' is a great continuation of Ronald Reagan's legacy, and we are excited for the coming days as new policies are announced from the Trump White House."
