NYC Launches PR Campaign For Islam
Radical Islamic terrorism is on the rise around the globe, and Americans are wondering what actions we need to take in order to ensure the safety of ourselves and those that we love. New York City is no stranger to this crisis. The Big Apple was the target of a terrorist bombing in its Chelsea neighborhood just recently. Democrat Mayor Bill de Blasio has come up with his own plan to deal with the issue. His plan does not involve more police presence, public awareness campaigns to report suspicious activity, or any of the other steps that other cities have taken. His response was to spend taxpayer dollars to silence what he calls “negative rhetoric targeting Muslim communities.” The new campaign will feature posters reminding NYC residents that it is against the law to “discriminate against or harass” Muslims.

Feminists Decry “Toxic” Masculinity
It’s no secret that men are under attack by feminists on liberal college campuses. Radical feminists have been saying for years that women don’t need men. They say that the two genders are exactly the same in every way, but now they are going even further than that. The feminists at Claremont College in Claremont, California hosted an event to tell men that masculinity is “extremely toxic to our mental health.” The forum featured a number of speakers who recounted the many ways that masculinity had supposedly wronged them. Their ultimate goal was to tell men that acting like men is harmful to themselves and others.

Precedent Against Frivolous Discrimination Cases
In most places an employer can hire or fire an employee “at will,” which means for any reason or even no reason at all. Jobs with private businesses are not entitlements, and fired employees do not have a valid legal grievance just because they were fired. Instead, employment by a private company is like an invitation to be on private property, which can be revoked by the owner at any time without even giving a reason.

American History Under A Plaque
Progressive liberals have made it their goal to erase or rewrite nearly every event that gives a positive view of American history. Liberal universities all over the nation have largely ignored the many life-saving advances of the Industrial Revolution so that they can focus in on slavery. They forget about the fall of Communism so that they can teach their students more about the poor treatment of Native Americans. They ignore the good and highlight the bad. In short, these universities have made it a part of their curriculum to convince students to hate America. Of course, we should not forget the dark parts of American history altogether. It is important for us to learn from the mistakes of our past so that we do not make those same mistakes again. However, it would be an equally grave mistake for us to keep the bad but throw out the good.

The Left Favors A Government Establishment Of Religion
The First Amendment of the United States Constitution begins by saying “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Those few words have been the subject of countless debates, and dozens of Supreme Court decisions. Some people on the Left believe that placing a nativity scene on the county courthouse lawn is a government establishment of religion. Those same people believe that putting a cross-shaped memorial to honor fallen servicemen on public property is a government establishment of religion. Most of us on the Right are starting to wonder exactly what does not count as a government endorsement of religion. Finally, the Left has given their answer. Mayor Bill de Blasio has launched a taxpayer-funded campaign to promote Islam in the Big Apple. The campaign includes pro-Islam signs around the city and special multilingual brochures to tell Muslims when they are being discriminated against.

James Madison; Defender of Religious Liberty
While James Madison’s role as the father of the United States Constitution is widely understood, his passion for securing religious freedom is not. Yet there is no principle in all of Madison’s long public career that he held with greater tenacity than a belief in religious liberty. His defense of religious freedom began when he stood with his father outside a jail in the village of Orange and heard Baptists preach from their cell windows. Madison wrote of a similar incident to William Bradford on this day - January 24 – in 1774, saying “There are at this time in the adjacent Culpepper County not less than five or six well-meaning men in jail for publishing their religious sentiments which in the main are very orthodox.”

TRUMP ENDS FEDERAL AID TO ABORTION, WITHDRAWS FROM TPP
St. Louis, MO: This morning, President Donald Trump signed three executive actions that take steps toward fulfilling many of his campaign promises and policies. Trump's actions included: withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, placing a hiring freeze on non-military federal workers, and cutting off federal funding for foreign organizations that provide abortions. These are some of the issues that Phyllis Schlafly regarded as most important in our 2016 election.

Roe v. Wade at 25
**Previously recorded by Phyllis Schlafly**
On the 25th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a New York Times/CBS poll reported that, after 30 million abortions, our nation is just as irreconciled to that evil decision as ever. The people who hope that this divisive issue will go away are just whistling in the wind.

The Inside Story of Roe v. Wade
**Previously Recorded by Phyllis Schlafly**
How did America become one of only four nations (along with Canada, China, and North Korea) that allow abortions for any reason, at any time during pregnancy? Why do laws regulating other surgical procedures not protect women when they get an abortion? Why does “unborn human life” have legal status in tort, criminal, and property law cases, yet a woman and her abortionist can decide to kill a baby? A new book called Abuse of Discretion by Clarke Forsythe answers those questions in an updated history of the 1973, Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.
