Last year, all eyes were on North Carolina as it passed its famous “bathroom bill.” The bill required that everyone must use only the public restrooms that match their biological gender. Of course, liberals were quick to attack the bill because it made no accommodation for transgender people, who ignore their biological sex and base their gender on how they feel. Despite considerable opposition from the Left, the bathroom bill passed into law. This year, nine other states have decided to follow in the Tarheel State’s footsteps and introduce similar legislation to protect the privacy of their citizens.
